LAPHRIA LATA, Macq. 1^er supp.

Lata, nigra, rufo [male], flavo [female], hirta. Scutello abdominis que nudis nigris. Alis fuscis.

Dans le premier supplément nous avons décrit cette espéce sous le nom de Mallophora analis; le facies nous avait trompé, et nous avions cru que l'absence du style des antennes était l'effet d'une mutilation. Elle appartient aux Laphria, et comme il y a déjá une , nous changeons le nom spécifique en celui de Lata.

In the first supplement we described this species under the name of Mallophora analis; the facies had misled us, and we had believed that the absence of the style of the antennae was the effect of a mutilation. It belongs to Laphria, and as there is already one, we change the specific name into that of Lata.]
